At The Stars Above Co, we create custom star maps that show the real sky from the exact time and place your story began. Each one is designed to look just as it did that night, with every visible star, planet, the moon, and the Milky Way glowing in full color.

How it all started
When I met a girl named Kendra while traveling through Europe, I never could have known that a single night would change my life. We were in Croatia, sitting by the sea, watching the Milky Way stretch across the sky. The stars looked endless, and I remember thinking, I want to remember this exact moment forever.
I wanted to give her a gift that could capture that night. I searched everywhere but only found dull black and white star maps that looked like cheap clip art. They felt lifeless and ordinary.
So I tried to make one myself.
After weeks of research into astronomical tools and rendering software with no luck, I learned how to write a custom script to modify a planetarium projector software. This finally created a star map that looked real. Full color, with every visible star, the moon, and the Milky Way glowing just as it did that night in Croatia.
That was my first star map, and it became the foundation for The Stars Above Co.
Kendra and I have been together ever since that night and partnered to bring these realistic custom star maps to the world.
